About Flatpack Braais

Hi, I’m Dewald and I’m the type of guy that uses his hands. I first fell in love with wood when I was 7 years old and have, for many years, worked with wood. During the Covid pandemic my future, like a lot of other people, was altered and this resulted in me starting my own business, Barnard and Son Woodwork, in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), Eastern Cape, South Africa.

I also have a life-long passion for camping and the outdoors and I designed and constructed a flatpack braai for my own use. I received so much positive feedback about the prototypes that I decided, together with my son, Joshua, to fabricate flatpack braais and stoves as a business. Our flatpack compact products allow you to have the luxury of braaing when you are out in the bushfeld.
